How to prevent the wear of the axial fan impeller
When we use an axial fan, the impeller will wear out after a period of time. So how do we prevent wear of the impeller? For different wear methods, the anti-wear measures can be divided into the following types:
1. Treat the appearance of the leaves
Carburizing, plasma surfacing, cemented carbide spraying, and ceramic sheeting can be applied to the blade surface. One of the advantages of these methods is to increase the hardness of the blade surface, thereby improving the wear resistance of the blade to a certain extent, but each method has its own shortcomings. The carburizing process is difficult. When carburizing is practiced, the position and thickness of the carburized layer should be determined by the thickness and wear of the blade and the carburizing process; the blade deforms greatly during surfacing, and repeated welding will cause frequent accidents on the blade surface. ; The thickness of the coating is difficult to determine when spraying; the effect of posting ceramic sheets is better, but the price is high.
2. Wear-resistant coating sprayed on the surface
This method is simple to operate and low in cost, but the coating wears out quickly, and it can be used for about 3-5 months at a time.
3. Improve the blade structure
There are methods such as machining the blade working surface into a sawtooth shape, changing the hollow blade into a solid blade, and adding welding anti-wear blocks to the blade, which can reduce the wear of the impeller to a certain extent.
4. Front anti-wear cascade
After installing the anti-wear blade cascade at the most easily worn part, it can block the flow of particles to the rear disk and blade roots, thereby converting the concentrated wear of the particles into uniform wear, improving the wear resistance of the impeller and extending the service life of the fan.
